Character- Infrastructure. There are a myriad of attributes.
Awareness- Insights/EQ. Self Awareness and Other Awareness.
Courage. Initiative. 1st of virtues. The will and confidence to get out of the herd.
Communication- Influence. To connect and move people.
Make small changes each day to produce big results.
I read an article by Keith Lubner and he shared that we need to avoid ambiguity and be clearer in our communication. For example, “I need a response by Tuesday at noon.” I am going to start giving this a try.

An old Chinese proverb- The temptation to quit will be greatest just before you are able to succeed.
Also, the darkest hour is just before dawn.
People complain a lot about traffic in the DC area. From a business perspective, there is no traffic jam when you hit the extra mile marker.
I need to work on becoming a better listener each day. If someone makes me laugh, I listen more intently. With that said, I need to work on my humorous stories.
The report card for a successful conference is not who you met. It is rather, the prospects who you continue to meet with after the event.
